Last fall she helped the women's cross country program to its first appearance at the NCAA Championships, where they finished 27th overall. Avard also owns the second-best 3000-meter steeplechase time in track history.
Gurlitz just completed her second season on the Assumption women's golf team and this spring was named to the NE10 Commissioners' Honor Roll. The sophomore owns a 3.74 GPA and this year posted the fourth-best scoring average for the Hounds this past year, including a ninth place finish in the NEIGA Championship this spring.
Russo earned her first Academic All-Conference selection after leading women's lacrosse to one of its best seasons. The senior defender finished her collegiate career with a 3.85 GPA and a degree in Human Services and Rehab Studies. On the field she helped the Hounds go 9-8 overall, including the program's first win over Bentley.
