    WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption College junior catcher Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) became the 11th player in the programs history to be named All-American when the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) selected him to the Honorable Mention All-American Team.

    WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption College sophomore Greta Scott (Little Compton, R.I. / Portsmouth) of the women's track & field team is set to compete at the 2017 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by The University of Tampa and IMG Academy, in Bradenton, Florida at IMG Academy on Thursday, May 25.

    WORCESTER, Mass. – The seventh annual Worcester Area Baseball All-Star teams have been announced today, as selected by the area’s athletic communication directors. Two members of the Assumption College baseball team were honored, as junior catcher Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) was named the Worcester Area Player of the Year and also to the First Team, while freshman second baseman Jared Brescia (Brentwood, N.H. / Exeter) was selected to the Second Team.
