September 2, 2010 WORCESTER, Mass. --- Senior BRANDAN SULLIVAN (Halesite, NY/Saint Dominic’s) made four saves to post the shutout as Assumption College opened its men’s soccer season with a 1-0 win over Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Anselm College THURSDAY night at the Multi-Sport Stadium. August 29, 2010 WORCESTER --- Two years ago, the Greyhounds endured a 1-9 season, a season which at times seemed demoralizing, but not enough to count out Assumption’s sophomore class. “We were actually in a lot of close games that year, most of them by only about a touchdown,” said right offensive tackle Matt Sidebottom, who was starting for the first time that season. “We knew the winning was going to come.
