Silva & Harris Named NE10 Defensive & Special Teams Player of the Week

WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a pair of impressive performances, juniors Deonte Harris (Baltimore, Md. / Archbishop Curley) and Kaleb Silva (Revere, Mass. / Revere) have been selected as the NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week.

Harris was dominant on Friday, recording his second straight game with a special teams touchdown, this time taking a second quarter punt 60 yards for the score. He added a 48-yard kickoff return in the contest, as well as five catches for 45 yards and two touchdowns while only playing in the first half of Assumption's 56-0 win over Pace. This is the second straight week he has been named NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week.

Silva was all over the field for the Hounds this past week, recording nine tackles and 2.0 sacks from his safety position in the team's 56-0 win over Pace. The junior was also instrumental in allowing Pace to get inside the red zone just twice and helping Assumption earn its first shutout since 2014.
