Student-Athletes Take Part in March Against Racial Profiling

The Assumption College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee recently teamed up with the ALANA Network at Assumption to host a march of solidarity in opposition to racism and racial profiling, sparked by the murder of Trayvon Martin.

Approximately 200 students and Assumption College community members took part in the march around campus on Wednesday, April 18th. A student from ALANA, as well as a student-athlete representative, Shannon Ray (Women's Basketball), spoke at the culmination of the march.
