HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Assumption University men's cross-country team had their best finish in program history, as the Greyhounds finished second at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Sunday morning at Hopkinton State Fair Grounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Joseph Carroll started strong, as the Senior was the first runner to cross the 2K mark at 6:13.43. Halfway through the race, he dropped one spot, but
Evan Laws considerably jumped from 31
st to 21
st. At the 6K mark, the Hounds started to increase their scoring position, with Timothy Curtin and
Jackson Terenzi moving up three and four spots, respectively.
Down the stretch, Assumption made a late push to finish second overall. Carroll made a move from seventh to fifth. Laws jumped one to take 17
th, while Manna (23
rd), Medeiros (37
th), Terenzi (41
st), and Curtin (42
nd) rounded out the scoring for the Hounds.
