WORCESTER, Mass. – Following a dominant win over AIC last week, Assumption men's lacrosse has moved up to 17th in the latest United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Poll (USILA) National Poll as well as No. 19 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

The No. 17 ranking is the highest in program history for the Hounds as they've started the season with a 5-2 record. Adelphi once again is atop the poll with all 16 first place votes and 362 points, while Merrimack is fourth and Pace is sixth. Le Moyne comes in at seventh after falling to Merrimack last weekend, and Saint Anselm is 20th with 34 points. Assumption trails No. 16 Rockhurst, who has 77 points while the Hounds have 56.

In the Nike/US Lacrosse Poll Assumption remains at No. 19 for a second straight week. Adelphi (1), Pace (4), Merrimack (5) and Le Moyne (8) are all in the top-ten, while Saint Anselm is 14th.
