Waltham, Mass. (September 25) -- The Assumption College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 final to Bentley University on Tuesday. Freshman Marie Black (Palmyra, N.Y. / Palmyra-Macedon) battled hard at number two singles, dropping 6-3, 6-3 in two sets. At number six singles, Allison Gorman fought hard but fell 6-1, 6-4 in a two-set loss.

The Greyhounds return to action on Sunday, Sept. 30 as Assumption will take on Adelphi University. The match will begin at 12:00 p.m. in Worcester, Mass.
