Worcester, Mass. (April 9) -- The Assumption College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 final to Saint Michael's College at the Assumption College tennis courts on Tuesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds dropped doubles by, 3-0, as the number one singles team of Erica Micchiche (Framingham, Mass. / Framingham) and Cassy Waung (Bolton, Mass. / East Catholic) dropped an 8-6 final at number one doubles.

Junior Melanie McCauley (Charlestown, R.I. / Chariho) battled at number five singles, dropped the first set, 7-5, before falling in the second set by a 6-2 final.

The Greyhounds fall to 5-14 overall and 3-8 in Northeast-10 Conference play while Saint Michael's improves to 10-3 overall and 9-1 in league play.
