Manchester, N.H. (April 11) -- In Northeast-10 Conference action on Friday afternoon, the Assumption College women's tennis team knocked off Saint Anselm College by an 8-1 final. The match began on the outdoor courts before moving indoors to the Carr Center at Saint Anselm.

The Hounds came out of doubles play up by a convincing 3-0 margin before taking five of the six singles matches, en route to their sixth victory of the season.

With the win, Assumption improves to 6-11 overall and 5-6 in Northeast-10 play, while the Hawks drop to 2-9 overall and in the league.

Assumption is back in action on Wednesday, April 16th as the Hounds travel to Le Moyne for a 3 p.m. start.
