Worcester, Mass. (April 9) -- In Northeast-10 Conference action on Wednesday afternoon, the Assumption College women's tennis team dropped a narrow 5-4 home final to visiting American International.
The Hounds trailed by a 2-1 margin after doubles before picking up straight-set wins in singles in the No. 3, 4 and 5 spots.
With the loss, Assumption drops to 5-11 overall and 4-6 in Northeast-10 play, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 2-6 overall and in the league.
Assumption is back in action on Friday, April 11th as the Hounds travel to Saint Anselm for a 3 p.m. start.
