- The Lead: In the 2015-2016 season finale, the Assumption College men's basketball team fell to Franklin Pierce University by a 78-66 final on Tuesday night at the FPU Fieldhouse.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- In the first half, Franklin Pierce jumped out to an early 12-0 lead before Assumption's Mat Sulda (Hatfield, Mass./Smith Academy) scored with 16:34 remaining in the first. The Ravens extended the lead to as many as 17 at 46-19 with 2:02 left before the Hounds closed the half on an 8-2 run to make it a 48-27 margin at the halftime break.

- The Hounds cut the lead down to 11 at 62-51 midway thru the second half on two straight layups from freshman Justin Tuckson (Stafford, Va./Christ Chapel Academy) as Assumption continued to fight. A three from Tuckson cut the lead to 68-60 later in the half before the Ravens extended the advantage back out to double digits at 72-60 with 4:27 on the clock. Tuckson's three with 3:56 left made it a 72-63 game under the four-minute park, en route to the eventual 12-point final victory for the Ravens.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Tuckson led the Hounds with 18 points, while senior Julian Aiken (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) posted 17 and senior Tre Owens (Rota, Spain/Rota) tallied a 13-point, 10-rebound double-double.

- For the Ravens, Donte Gittens was the top Raven scorer with 22 points, while Jordan Lackey tallied 15 points and Matt Banton posted 13. In addition, Tyler Iacuone paced the Ravens with a team-high 11 rebounds.
