The Lead: Seniors Chris Waung (Bolton, Conn. / East Catholic), and Marco Leung (Macao / The International School of Macao) went 2-0 to lead the Hounds to a 5-4 victory over Franklin Pierce in an NE10 conference match up. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Hounds won two of three doubles matches to take the 2-1 lead before singles play. C. Waung and Leung defeated James Bisazza and Andrew Schadt 8-5 at No. 1 doubles, while Casey Hodor (North Kingstown, R.I. / Bishop Hendricken) and Tom Knight (Wilbraham, Mass. / Minnechaug Regional) paired to win their No. 3 match 8-4. 

- Assumption and Franklin Pierce split the singles matches 3-3. The Hounds won at each of the first three flights 3-0. C. Waung and junior Ryan Foster (Bloomfield, Conn. / Classical Magnet) swept No.1 and No. 2 in two sets each, while Leung won his No.3 singles match in three sets. 

- The Ravens won No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 for the 5-4 final in favor of the Hounds. No. 4 sophomore Danny Waung (Bolton, Conn. / East Catholic) fell in three sets to Marcus Lawerence while Knight and Hodor fell in two sets in No. 5 and No. 6 singles.
