HOW IT HAPPENED
-Senior Julia Chappell (Manchester, N.H. / Manchester Central) and first year Caitlin Sze (South Windsor, Conn. / South Windsor) earned a victory at No. 1 doubles with a 6-1 final over junior Abby Edelmann and first year Mary Leys.
-Senior Valeria Sanchez (Carolina, P.R. / Colegio La Piedad) and first year Jessica Crosby (Westfield, Mass. / St. Mary's) partnered up at No. 2 doubles to take down sophomore Zoe Rogers and junior Jenny Panergo to secure the doubles points for the Hounds.
-Chappell shut out Edelmann at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
-Sze cruised to a two-set victory over Leys at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
-Sanchez secured 6-2 victories over Rogers at No. 3 singles.
-Sophomore Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass. / Doherty Memorial) shut down Panergo at No. 4 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
-Sophomore year Aimee Figgins (Milford, Mass. / Hopedale Jr./Sr. High School) secured the final 7-0 victory with a sweep of Sarah Knickerboacker at No. 5 singles, 6-1, 6-0
