WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's basketball team revealed its 2022-23 schedule Thursday afternoon. The Greyhounds open the season at home as they host Caldwell University in the Assumption Tip-Off Classic opening game on Friday, November 11, at 5:00 pm.

The Hounds are looking to return to the Northeast-10 Playoffs, as they fell last year in the quarterfinals. Head Coach Scott Faucher will look to get the Greyhounds back to the NE10 Championship game, which they last won in 2009.

The Greyhounds will have a tuneup before the traditional start of the season, as they will take on Division I Providence College (Oct. 29) at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

Assumption will tip-off their season on Nov. 11, as they host Caldwell at 5:00 pm, before turning around to host Chestnut Hill the following evening (Nov. 12). After one game at Dominican (Nov. 16), the Greyhounds will return to Laska Gymnasium to open NE10 competition against Franklin Pierce (Nov. 19).

The Blue and White will head on the road for eight of the next ten games. Assumption will host Saint Michael's (Nov. 30) and Le Moyne (Dec. 11) but will be on the road for American International (Nov. 22), Molloy (Nov. 28), New Haven (Dec. 6), Saint Thomas Aquinas (Dec. 14), Daemen (Dec. 17), Post (Dec. 29), Southern New Hampshire (Dec. 31), and Saint Anselm (Jan. 4).

The Greyhounds return home on Jan. 7 to host Southern Connecticut but will take on Bentley (Jan. 11) in Waltham. Assumption will alternate between home and road games for the next six games, as they will host Pace (Jan. 14), Saint Rose (Jan. 21), and American International (Feb. 1). The Blue and White will travel to Adelphi (Jan. 18), Franklin Pierce (Jan. 24), Saint Michael's (Feb. 4), and Le Moyne (Feb. 7).

Assumption will wrap up the regular season with three of the final four games at home, as they host New Haven (Feb. 11), Saint Anselm (Feb. 15), and Southern New Hampshire (Feb. 18), before closing out the schedule at Southern Connecticut (Feb. 21).
