HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half was pretty even, as neither side would find the back of the net. Saint Rose was close to putting a goal on the board, but the play was called back due to an offsides call.
The Golden Knights started the second half with a bang, as Nick Koenig's free kick from right outside the box curled into the top left corner of the cage, making it 1-0 Saint Rose at the 47:43 marker. Assumption refused to quit as
Daniel Paulsson crossed the field to
Brady Devos, who scored at the 66:13 marker to tie the game. The Greyhounds continued to attack, and seven minutes later, they found the back of the net again.
Vegard Pernes' shot into the box was redirected by the head of Paulsson for his fourth of the year. Despite a late push by the Golden Knights, the Blue and White secured the win.
