WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University eSports teams recently competed in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Emergent Atlantic Division Playoffs this past Sunday.
 
ROCKET LEAGUE
The Greyhounds opened up in the quarterfinals with a 3-2 best-of-five series win against Holy Cross before clinching their ticket to the NECC Championship following a 3-0 sweep of New England College. The Blue and White run would come up short in the best-of-seven championship series, as they fell to New England Tech, 4-0. The Assumption Rocket League team consists of Eli Harmon, Ryan Imbriglio, Avery Lemieux, and Tyler Reid.
 
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
Assumption will play against Robert Morris University in the NECC Atlantic Divisional Playoffs Finals on Wednesday, December 7^th, at 6:30 pm. League of Legends has been undefeated so far this semester with an 8-0 seasonal record. The League of Legends team consists of Danny Liberty, Peyton Leone, Alec Prentis, Gabriel Purdy, and Travis Robie.
