CLERMONT, Fla. – The Assumption University softball team dropped two games to the University of Finlay Sunday afternoon at "The Spring Games" in Florida.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE - University of Findlay 4, Assumption University 1
The Oilers were the first team to get on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth inning, as Olivia Carlton hit a two-run homerun. The Greyhounds cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the fifth as
Lauren Geremia drove in
Emma Bloom with an RBI single.
Findlay added two more runs in the top of the seventh as they extended their lead to 4-1. Assumption could not rally in the bottom of the seventh to fall 4-1.
Kaelin Waldron went the distance in the pitching circle, allowing three earned runs with a pair of strikeouts.
GAME TWO - University of Findlay 7, Assumption University 2
Findlay raced out to an early lead, as they plated three runs in the first, two in the second, and two more in the third to go up 7-0 after three complete innings. The Greyhounds got on the board in the top of the fourth, as
Summer Sheerin scored on a wild pitch. Sheerin scored later in the game, crossing the plate in the sixth, as
Emma Bloom had a sacrifice fly to left field.
