SPRINGFIELD, Mass.— The Assumption University men's soccer closed out the 2024 campaign with a 1-1 tie at American International College Wednesday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Assumption was the first team to get on the board, as
Brady Devos converted on a penalty kick in the 27
thminute. The Greyhounds carried the 1-0 lead into halftime, as they outshot the Yellow Jackets 7-3. American International came out of the second half on the attack, as they outshot Assumption 12-2 in the first 35 minutes of the frame, which was capped off by a game-tying goal by Christian Torres in the 80
th minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Anthony Shea recorded six saves in goal for the Hounds.
- AIC outshot Assumption 17-12, while the Greyhounds had a 5-4 edge in corners.
- Assumption leads the all-time series 24-23-8.
