WALTHAM, Mass. – The No. 5 seeded Assumption University women's lacrosse team fell to No. 4 seeded Bentley University 16-12 in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Saturday afternoon.

Kyle Johnston with four seconds left in the first quarter, cutting the deficit to 6-2. The Falcons opened the second quarter with a tally 50 seconds in, but the Greyhounds responded with five straight, with goals coming from

Kyle Johnston to tie the game at 7-7.
In the second half, the two teams traded goals, but Assumption finished the frame strong. They tallied three consecutive goals, with Morgan Boldec netting the go-ahead goal with 1.5 showing on the scoreboard, giving the Greyhounds an 11-10 advantage after 45 minutes. In the fourth quarter, the Falcons outscored Assumption 6-1 to clinch the playoff matchup 16-12.
