SUTTON, Mass. – The Assumption University women's golf team sits in fourth place after the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship at the Blackstone National Golf Course on Sunday afternoon.

• T-17^th – Samantha Tinsley (+11 | 83)
• T-17^th – Delaney Roche (+11 | 83)
• 23^rd – Charlee Kennedy (+19 | 91)
• 25^th – Cecilia Shenette (+22 | 94)

 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds started on the back nine, as Samantha Tinsley and Delaney Roche started strong, with each shooting 41. Tinsley birdied a challenging 18th hole. Freshman Caroline Dubrey shot an even front nine. After bogeying the tenth hole of the day, she bounced back with a birdie at the following hole. 
 
Roche was the only other Assumption golfer to capture a birdie on the round, as she recorded a three, on hole one.
