WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's basketball team broke into the national polls this week, as they are ranked 16
th in the National Association of Basketball Coaches poll, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (4-0, 0-0 NE10) are led offensively by
Noah Payne (16.3), while
Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton and
Luke Michalski average 16.0 points per game, while
Baril Mawo (12.5),
Daouda Dembele (12.0), and
Matt Breen (12.0) all average 10+ points.
The Hounds have the seventh-highest scoring offense in the nation (97.8 points per game), while also ranking in the top ten in assists per game (1
st - 23.3), fast break points (2
nd – 30.0), forced turnovers per game (2
nd – 24.25), steals per game (3
rd – 16.0), field goal percentage (4
th – 55.3), effective field goal percentage (6
th – 63.5), three-point percentage (10
th – 44.2), and turnover margin (10
th – 6.8).
Assumption will hit the road on Tuesday evening, taking on Bentley University at 7:00 pm, before returning home to face Queens College on Sunday, November 30
th, at 3:30 pm.
