MANCHESTER, N.H.– The Assumption University men's soccer team saw their season come to an end on Wednesday evening, as the Greyhounds fell to No. 6 Southern New Hampshire University 8-1 in Northeast 10 Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Southern New Hampshire started strong and fast, as they scored their first goal in the 21
st minute, before adding four more in the remaining 24 minutes before halftime. After SNHU scored 52 seconds into the second half,
Evan Fletcher got Assumption on the scoreboard, as he scored off the assist from
Axel Gerremon in the 58
th minute, making it 6-1. The Penmen would add two more goals late to pull away for an 8-1 final score.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Cathal Carney recorded 11 saves for the Greyhounds
- Southern New Hampshire outshot Assumption 19-2, while also having 12 of 14 corners.
