MANSFIELD, Mass. – With the season right around the corner, the Assumption University men's indoor track & field team was picked fourth in the Coaches Preseason Poll. At the same time, the women's side was selected to finish sixth, as announced by the Northeast 10 Conference on Wednesday afternoon.
The men's side brings back three of their four all-region selections from last year's squad,
DJ Chaudhry (400m),
Colby Medeiros (800m), and adds 25 new additions to their roster of 74.
The women's squad brought back one of their all-region selections (
Katrina Sullivan), while also adding 12 fresh faces to their overall size of 44 student-athletes.
The Greyhounds begin the season on Saturday, December 6
th, as they will compete at the New Balance Early Bird meet at the Track at New Balance in Boston. Assumption will compete in the NE10 Championship from February 19-20 at the Track at New Balance.
