RINDGE, N.H.—The Assumption University softball team rallied late in game two to pick up the Northeast-10 Conference split at Franklin Pierce University, Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game One Score: Franklin Pierce University 3, Assumption University 1
Franklin Pierce went in front in the bottom of the second inning, as they plated three runs in the frame. Assumption got on the board in the top of the third inning, as
Kaitlyn Cahill hit her third home run of the spring to center field, making it 3-1.
Kaelin Waldron went the distance, as she scattered seven hits, no earned runs, and four strikeouts.
Game Two Score: Assumption University 4, Franklin Pierce University 2
In game two, the first run would be scored in the top of the fifth inning, as Cahill singled to left field before stealing second and third bases, and scored on a throwing error, making it 1-0 Assumption. Franklin Pierce answered in the bottom of the fifth with a two-run home run to go up 2-1.
The Greyhounds went back on top in the sixth, as
Emma Bloom recorded a two-RBI single up the middle, regaining the lead for the Hounds before
Ella Leduc drew a bases-loaded walk, making it 4-2. The Ravens got two runners on in the bottom of the seventh with no outs in the inning, but
Ashley Dalo got a fly out to center before inducing a 4-3 double play to end the game.
