WORCESTER, Mass. – After being a key figure in two wins over a nationally ranked Felician University,
Christopher Manzo was named the Northeast 10 Baseball Player of the Week, while
Patrik McGrath and
Shane Corcoran also earned player of the week honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Baseball Player of the Week
Christopher Manzo, Assumption

Manzo came up clutch for Assumption, as they took 2-of-3 against No. 20 Felician in Fairfax, Virginia, this past weekend. In game one on Saturday, he had a solo home run and went 2-for-4 at the dish in a 6-4 win. He added two RBI in the nightcap of their twinbill. Manzo capped off the weekend with a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving Assumption a thrilling 11-10 win.
Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week
Patrik McGrath, Assumption
Senior | Attack | Sarasota, Fla.
In two games this week, McGrath tallied eight goals and nine assists for 17 points, as Assumption went 2-0. At Post on Friday, he recorded four goals and six assists for a career-high ten points in an 18-10 win. He followed up that performance with a seven-point outing against Roberts Wesleyan just two days later. He scored four goals and added three assists, with all but one goal coming in the first quarter.
Men's Lacrosse Goaltender of the Week
Shane Corcoran, Assumption
Sophomore | Goaltender | East Sandwich, Mass.
In two games this week, Corcoran recorded a .718 save percentage and a 6.29 goals against average, including 28 total saves. On Friday at Post, he had 11 stops in just three quarters of action. He followed that performance up with a 17-save outing in a 13-5 win over Roberts Wesleyan. Corcoran ranks ninth in DII in save percentage.
