MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Assumption University men's tennis team had six selections to the Northeast 10 Conference All-Conference Teams, announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Luigi Bassani and Luca Figueiredo were named to the All-NE10 First Team No. 2 Doubles team, while Michele Elia, Igor Kulbaka, Bassani, Herman Aguirre, and Alec Pijnaker were all named to the All-NE10 Second Team. 
 
Elia was named to the All-NE10 second team after going 8-4 overall and 4-1 in conference action at No. 2 singles. His doubles teammate, Kulbalka, took home All-NE10 second-team honors at No. 4 singles, as he went 6-3 in league play. Bassani picked up his second All-Conference honor of the season, as he was also named to the Second Team at No. 5 singles, going 7-2. 
 
The combination of Aguirre/Pijnacker were named as the No. 2 doubles team on the second team. The duo went 3-3 overall and 3-1 in NE10 action. 

Assumption earns it a share of the league regular-season crown for the first time since 2006-07, a season that was the last of a nine-year run as both regular- and postseason league winners.  The now 10 regular-season titles are the most in NE10 annals, as are Assumption's nine postseason trophies.  The Greyhounds will next take on Southern New Hampshire University on Thursday, April 30th, in the NE10 Semifinals.  Vern Cox Player of the Year: Louca Bertone, ADE
