WORCESTER, Mass. — The Assumption University women's tennis team is heading to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in program history, as the Greyhounds will compete against Wilmington University (Del.) in the NCAA Division II East Regional at Queens College (N.Y.).) Tennis Center.

Per NCAA Regulations, no parent passes or complimentary passes will be accepted.
More information about tickets will be released later in the week.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- This is the first time that Assumption has reached the NCAA Tournament in program history.
- Assumption fell in the Northeast 10 Conference Championship to Adelphi University 4-1.
- The NE10 Championship was the first time that the Greyhounds reached the conference title match since the 1991-92 season.
- Darja Trinerova and Beren Vapur were named to the All-NE10 First Team, while Laurence Bosmans made her way onto the Second Team. Marian Aguirre found her way on the Third Team, while the combinations of Bosman/Trinerova and Aguirre/ Madison Ericson were recognized in doubles action.
- The Greyhounds have made it three-straight seasons with 10+ wins, the first time since they had 10+ from 2015-2018.

- The first round of play will begin Tuesday, May 19, and the championship is set for Thursday, May 23, at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.
