WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption University head cross country coach Whitney Cyr has announced the Greyhounds' 2026 schedule, featuring five regular-season meets leading into the Northeast 10 and NCAA Championship season.

The 2026 campaign opens on Sept. 5 at the third annual University of Hartford Invitational at Keney Park before the Greyhounds travel to the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 19. 

October begins with the Keene State Invitational on Oct. 3 before the Greyhounds race in the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Championship at the Hopkinton State Fairgrounds on Oct. 9. Assumption closes out the month at the Penmen Invitational on Oct. 22. 

The Blue and White will head down to New York on Nov. 8, as they will compete in the Northeast 10 Conference Championship at Bethpage Polo at the Park. Assumption will return two weeks later for the NCAA East Regional on Nov. 21. 

The 2026 schedule provides Assumption with a balanced mix of regional invitationals and championship meets as the Greyhounds prepare to compete against some of the top programs in the East Region throughout the fall.
