NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Assumption University women's tennis team was voted to finish second in the Northeast 10 Conference men's tennis coaches' preseason poll, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Adelphi received 25 points and five first-place votes, holding off Assumption and SNHU, which tied for second with 19 points each. Franklin Pierce (12 points), Saint Michael's (9 points) and Saint Anselm (6 points) finished fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.
Assumption advanced to the NE10 Championship for the first time in program history last season after a 4-0 win over SNHU in the conference semifinals.
Darja Trinerova and
Beren Vapur return as First Team All-Conference performers.
The 2026-27 NE10 season opens on Saturday, September 5th. The NE10 Championship is played in the spring.
