Assumption University

• Any/all qualified and interested students will be allowed to try out for our NCAA athletic programs.
• If interested in trying out, the student must contact the head coach of their sport for more information. Coaches' contact information may be found in the Assumption University Athletics Staff Directory. Walk-on tryout dates/times will be determined by each Head Coach. Students will be given a minimum of two practice opportunities during the Fall semester (prior to the first contest) to be evaluated by the head coach and staff.
• If you intend to walk-on, you are required to register for the NCAA Eligibility Center.
• You will also need to complete NCAA Compliance Forms before you tryout. You must contact the compliance office here to obtain the necessary forms.
• Finally, a Medical History Packet must be completed before you are allowed to participate in tryout activities.  This packet must include the following.
  • Medical History Questionnaire
  •  Health Insurance 
  • Physical (dated within 6 months of the tryout date)
  • Sickle cell solubility test results
