Assumption University

Ginnity brings his playing and coaching experience to the Assumption bench as part of Head Coach Scott Faucher inaugural staff in 2019. This will be Ginnity's second stint at Assumption as he was part of Serge Debari's staff in the mid 2000's.  

COACHING CAREER

• Brings 15 plus years of coaching experience to the Greyhounds
• Associate Head Coach at Clark University (2006-10)
  • NEWMAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Second Round Appearance
• Head JV and Varsity Assistant at Clark University
• Coached at Framingham State University and Worcester Academy

PLAYING CAREER

• As a player Ginnity was part of four post season teams and three NCAA tournaments with Clark
• The point guard led his teams to two Sweet Sixteen’s and an Elite Eight.
• After graduation Ginnity moved to Ireland as a player and coach in the Ulster Basketball Association (Northern Ireland) and the National League Division One (Ireland) as part of the Northstar basketball club.

PERSONAL LIFE

• Ginnity graduated from Clark University in 2001
• Ginnity is employed by Oracle Corp. and resides in Holden with his wife Laura, daughter, Ryleigh and son Camdyn
