Prior to Assumption: Played basketball in high school... In his sophomore season he was named All North Zone Southwest Preparatory Conference... His junior year he was named All North Zone and All State Southwest Preparatory Conference... His senior season he was named All State Southwest Preparatory Conference and Mustang Classic All Tournament Team... Spent time volunteering at Sunrise Senior Living and the North Texas Food Bank.
