Prior to Assumption: Did cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track in high school. Has personal best times of 16:42 for the 5k, 10:26 for 2 miles, 4:41 for the one mile, 2:50 for the 1000, 2:08 for the 800, and 52.9 for the 400.

Personal Life: Son of Michelle and Joe Madden and has five siblings: Jenise, JiaLi, Edward, Dan, and Joey. Joey did soccer and track at Bridgewater State, Jenise did cross country and track at Bridgewater State, and Edward did lacrosse at Worcester State.
