2019 Outdoor Track:

• Placed 2nd in the shot put at the NE10 Championships (5/3-5/4) with a distance of 14.66 meters
• Finished 12th in the discus with a distance of 37.29 meters at the NE10 Championships

2018-19 Indoor Track:

• Finished 10th at the 2019 Dartmouth Relays - College and Open in the shot put with a distance of 14.18 meters
• Placed 4th at the NE10 Championships (2/16) in the shot put with a distance of 14.84 meters that set a new school record

2018 Outdoor Track:

• Placed fourth at the NE10 Championships (5/4) in the shot put throw with a distance of 14.16 m
• Placed first at the Assumption-Merrimack meet (4/21) in shot put and discus throw.

2017-18 Indoor Track:

• Earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for shot put.
• Won bronze at NE10 Indoor Championships (2/17) in shot put with a distance of 14.45 meters.
• Placed third at the Inaugural Branwen Smith-King Invitational (1/27) in  shot put with a personal best throw of 14.81 meters.

2017 Outdoor Track: Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the shot put... In a collegiate best of 14.75m, he placed 2nd in the Shot Put at the NE10 Champs... Threw a collegiate best of 41.08 in the discuss at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invitational.

2016-17 Indoor Track: Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the shot put... At the NE-10 Championship, he threw 13.99m for a 3rd place finish… Had a career-best throw in shot put of 14.47m to place second at the Gordon Kelly Invitational… Won the Pioneer Invitational in shot put with a throw of 14.23m… Threw 12.55m in the weight throw, good enough for a career best, at the Spartan Regional Invite.

2016 Outdoor Track: At the Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, he placed 10th in the shot put with a distance of 12.77m… Had a personal-best discus at the Stonehill Skyhawk Invite with a distance of 36.64m, good for fourth in the event… Had 10 top-10 finishes during the outdoor season.

2015-16 Indoor Track: At the Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships, he had a personal-best shot put with a distance of 14.15m good for eighth in the event… Had a season-best weight throw at the Gordon Kelly Invitational with a distance of 11.56m… Had five top-10 finishes during the indoor season. 

Prior to Assumption: Member of the track and field and football teams at Auburn Senior High School... Was a Worcester T&G All Star for indoor track and honorable mention for football… Member of championship teams in football and outdoor track in 2012… Was a SWCL two-time All-Star for indoor and outdoor track.

Personal: Son of James and Donna Bruso... Has two siblings, Thomas (15) and Patrick (11)… His dad graduated from Assumption College… Born on August 17.
