Prior to Assumption: Played soccer, basketball, softball at John D. O'Bryant of Mathematics and Science, played softball for The Base, made O'Bryant Girls Soccer MVP (4 years), BPS Soccer All-City League Team (4 years), BPS, Soccer City All Star Team (4 years) , BPS Softball All City League Team (4 years), BPS Softball All Star Team (4 years), Softball MVP (3 years), Softball Coaches Award (1 year), BPS Softball Player of the Year (2025), and O'Bryant Best Female Athlete (2025). 

Personal Life: Daughter of Virginia Benzan and Christopher Buyu. Has two brothers Diego Buyu (22) Mateo Buyu (20). Katie Benzan (Cousin) is a former professional basketball player who currently serves as the general manager for the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. She played in the Women's National Basketball Association for the Washington Mystics in 2022. Major is Undeclared.
