2018-19: Served as the stroke on the Varsity 8 boat… Led the team to its second straight victory in the NE10 Invitational… Part of Varsity 8 which competed in the Head of the Charles Regatta, taking 26th… Member of Varsity 8 which reached the Grand Final at the Knecht Cup.
2017-18: Was the stroke on the Varsity 8 boat for the Hounds…Took first place with the Varsity 8 boat in the NE10 Challenge...Took sixth on the Varsity 8 in the New England Rowing Championship...Was on the Varsity 8 boat that broke the school record in the Dad Vail Regatta (7:07.7).
2016-2017: Competed on the Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats for the Hounds as a stroke… Took first place with the Varsity 8 boat once this season against Johnson and Wales and Bryant …Was the stroke on the Varsity 8 boat that broke the school record at Lake Quinsigamond against Clark, Bowdoin, and Johnson and Wales.
2015-16: Helped set a new Assumption program record at the Northeast-10 Championship as a member of the novice four boat that finished with a time of 8:02.95… At the New England Rowing Championships, she raced on the novice four boat that qualified for the Novice Four Grand Final with a time of 8:39.345…Was also on the Assumption boat that claimed a first place victory at Lake Quinsigamond on 4/9/16 with a time of 7:52.30.
Prior to Assumption: Competed in swimming and rowing at Our Lady of Lourdes High School... Named Rookie of the Year... Earned the Coach's Award and "Heart of a Champion" Award... Also competed for Hudson River Rowing Association.
Personal: Daughter of Arthur and Martha Boyko... Has two siblings, Emily and Jason... Father Arthur competed on the swim team at SUNY Cortland, mother Martha competed in diving at SUNY Cortland... Sister Emily swims at the University of Connecticut... Volunteers her time with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at Out of the Darkness Community Walks and also participates regularly in local clothing drives.
