2018-19: Rowed as a member of the Varsity 8 boat throughout the year…. Led the team to its second straight victory in the NE10 Invitational… Part of Varsity 8 which competed in the Head of the Charles Regatta, taking 26th… Member of Varsity 8 which reached the Grand Final at the Knecht Cup.
2017-18: Competed on the Varsity 8 boat for the Hounds…Took 9th with the Varsity 8 boatin the Riverfront Regatta in Hartford, Connecticut.
2016-2017: Competed on the Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats for the Hounds… Was competing on the Varsity 8 boat that broke the school record at Lake Quinsigamond against Clark, Bowdoin, and Johnson and Wales.
2015-16: Helped set a new Assumption program record at the Northeast-10 Championship as a member of the novice four boat that finished with a time of 8:02.95… At the New England Rowing Championships, she raced on the novice four boat that qualified for the Novice Four Grand Final with a time of 8:39.345… Was also on the Assumption boat that claimed a first place victory at Lake Quinsigamond on 4/9/16 with a time of 7:52.30.
Prior to Assumption: Participated in track and field, and rowed at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School… Made it to nationals fo SJB as a junior and senior.
Personal: Daughter of James and Jennifer Byrnes... Has one sibling Jesse.
