Biography
2015-16: Finished fifth in the 1650 freestyle at the Northeast-10 Championships with a season-best time of 17:46.66…Placed sixth in the 500 freestyle with a best time of 5:12.17…Also captured seventh in the 400 IM with a personal best time of 4:43.85…Had a season-best 1000 freestyle vs Le Moyne, swimming it in 11:07.32, good for second at the meet.
Prior to Assumption: Competed for Andover High School... She represented Andover High all four years at the MIAA Division I State Championships, winning three of them... Won the Rookie of the Year award in 2011, the Hardest Worker Award in 2012, and won the Top Scorer Award in 2013 and 2014... Also competed for the Crimson Aquatics where she qualified for sectionals... Also played lacrosse at Andover.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Maureen Fitzsimmons... Born on Dec. 19... Has one sister, Caite (17)... Participated in the Krift Classic Road Race and the Colleen Ritzer Memorial Road Race... Voluntereed making blankets for a local homeless shelter.
