Assumption University

Ashley Cangiano joins the Assumption University softball staff after serving as a softball operations assistant at Harvard University in 2026. From 2024 to 2026, she was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at Concordia University Irvine, where she earned a master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

Cangiano played at Franklin Pierce University from 2020 to 2024 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreational Management. She was named the 2021 Northeast 10 Rookie of the Year and the 2023 NE10 Player of the Year. Her honors include three All-Conference First Team selections (2021–23), an All-Conference Second Team selection (2024), three All-Region First Team selections (2021–23), and 2023 NFCA Second Team All-America recognition. She also earned Academic All-Conference honors in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
