Dr. Lee Mancini is a board certified Sports Medicine Physician, a Certified Sports Nutritionist, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction. As an Assistant Professor at the UMass Medical School, Dr. Mancini is on faculty for the UMass Sports Medicine Fellowship, and is the faculty course instructor of the Fitness and Nutrition Electives for both residents and medical students.
Dr. Mancini owns and operates Doctor of Fitness, LLC, which provides instruction in proper fitness training and nutrition to clients and athletes.
Dr. Mancini is currently the team physician for Assumption College and Shrewsbury High School. He has spoken at national and regional conferences on sports nutrition, supplements, steroids, and other fitness and sports medicine topics. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Mancini has trained numerous high school, college, and recreational athletes including athletes from the Boston Red Sox minor league system, Fitchburg State College, The College of the Holy Cross, the Worcester Ice Cats and Lowell Devils of the AHL, Worcester State College and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
