PROFESSIONAL CAREER

  • Entering his sixth year as the Head Assumption University Strength and Conditioning Coach in the fall of 2023
    • Stanovich was elevated to the Head Assumption University Strength and Conditioning Coach in September of 2020, after working as the assistant
  • Nick has been a part of Assumption University’s Strength and Conditioning department in various capacities since 2017 
    • Stanovich oversees the year-round programming and training of all 24 varsity programs
    • Daily duties include strength training sessions in the varsity weight room, speed development, performance testing, and aerobic conditioning
  • Prior to Assumption, Nick was the Assistant Director of Sport Performance and Director of Intern Development at True North Performance Training in Worcester
    • He developed and implemented various strength and power programs for NCAA Division III athletic programs, including WPI, Clark University, Becker College, and in-season training for the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) Worcester Railers
  • Additional experience includes teaching as an adjunct professor at Anna Maria College, where he taught Exercise Physiology lectures and lab

PERSONAL LIFE

  • Stanovich and his wife Devon reside in Worcester.
  • He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in coaching from Lasell University in 2016. He later received his Master of Science in Sport Management with a concentration in Athletic Administration in 2019 from Lasell University.
