Worcester, Mass. (November 28) -- The Assumption College ice hockey team dropped a 7-0
final to Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Anselm College at the Charles J. Buffone Arena on Wednesday evening.
The Hawks used five first period goals, as Bryan Luther had a hat trick for Saint Anselm College in the win. Mike Richard added two goals for the Hawks in the win.
Bryan Sullivan had the game-winning goal for the Hawks at the 3:00 minute mark in the first period and the Hawks wouldn't trail again, as Luther netted the next two goals for Saint Anselm to give the visitors a 3-0 advantage 11 minutes into the game.
The Greyhounds fall to 1-10 on the season, as Saint Anselm improves to 4-2-1 on the season.
Assumption will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Framingham State University. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Framingham, Mass.
