Easton, Mass. (September 18) -- Assumption College freshman Sarah Frahm (Salem, N.H./Salem) has been honored as the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for her play in a 2-0 week last week for the Hounds. She is the first Assumption player to earn a Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Award since the 2006 season.

Frahm notched a pair of goals on Saturday in a 4-3 overtime road win at Saint Michael's, including the game winner just over six minutes into the extra period. Thru seven games, she is tied for second on the team in scoring with seven points on three goals and one assist.

Assumption is currently on a three-game winning streak after Saturday's win, the program's longest since a five-game winning streak 10 years ago.
