HOW IT HAPPENED:

-The Hounds got out to a 1-0 lead just 2:34 into the game when sophomore Brian Farrell (Island Park, N.Y. / West Boca) collected a rebound and buried the puck into the back of the net, assisted by Bete and Gomez.

-Johnson & Wales tied the game in the 13th minute when Stefan Brucato blasted a shot from the left that landed in the top right corner past Commesso to even the score, 1-1.

-With just 30 seconds left in the frame, the Hounds reclaimed the lead when Bete took a swift pass from Gomez and took a quick shot from the left into the top right corner, 2-1 Hounds.

-The Wildcats scored three straight in the second period to take a 4-2 lead heading into the third.

-In the third period, the Hounds rallied for two goals within 1:08 to tie the game at 4-4.

-The comeback started with a power-play goal off the stick of sophomore Tommy Mahoney (Braintree, Mass. / Braintree) at 6:58. Mahoney was assisted by sophomore Ryan Bunyon (Westford, Mass. / Westford Academy) and junior Kevin Murphy (North Conway, NH / Kennett) on the goal from the slot.

-At the start of the eighth minute, junior Nick Fenuccio (Keene, N.H. / Keene) wrapped around the back of the net to the right and blasted a shot into the right side of the net to tie the game, ultimately sending the Hounds into overtime. Fenuccio's goal was assisted by senior Alex Erban (Attleboro, Mass. / Mount Saint Charles) and junior Stephen Picard (Enfield, Conn. / Loomis Chaffee).

-Tuesday's start marks Commesso's fourth of the season. Last season Commesso appeared in just four games all season.

-For the third-straight game, Erban has led the Assumption offense in shots.

-Bete now leads the Hounds with seven points on the season.
