The Lead: Junior Allison Sheahan (Higganum, Conn. / Haddam-Killingworth) scored the game winning goal in the 56th minute to lead the Hounds to a 2-1 victory over Pace in a Northeast-10 conference match-up on Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Freshman Sam Tepper (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg) scored in the tenth minute to give Assumption a 1-0 lead, which they would take into the half.
- In the 49th minute Halley Rose tied the game 1-1 with an assist from Louisa Wegener off of a penalty corner.
- The tied wouldn't last long as Sheahan responded for Assumption. Following a shot on net, Andrea Koslowski (Warren, Mass. / Quaboag Regional) passed the rebound to Sheahan in front in the 56th minute for the game-winning goal.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- In the first half the Hounds outshot the Setters 5-3, while both registered three shots in the second half.

Sarah Bodzinski (Southwick, Mass. / Southwick Tolland Regional) made two saves for her seventh win this season while Lesley Sanchez Alvarez made three saves in the loss.
- The Hounds have now won three straight conference games and have scored at least two goals in five consecutive games.
