The Lead: Saint Anselm led 1-0 after the first period and scored three more times over final 40 minutes to defeat Assumption 4-0 in NE10 conference play on Tuesday evening. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:
 
- At 12:41 the Hawks got on the board when Lawerence Taylor IV tallied an unassisted goal.

- Just eight seconds into the second, Saint Anselm forward Antonio Marini scored off an assist by Taylor IV to put the Hawks up 2-0

- At 5:00 minutes in the second, Brendon Kerrigan scored on the power play assisted by Vin D'Amato to head into the third period leading 3-0.

- Hawks forward Sean Verrier tallied a goal assisted by Ryan Loranger at 16:38 to make the score 4-0.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- The Hawks outshot the Hounds 40 to 33 and went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Hounds went 0 for 1.

- Goaltender Nick Commesso (Marshfield, Mass./ Walpole Express (AJHL)) made 36 saves in the loss while Shane Joyce made 33 saves in the shutout.
