The Lead: Hound goalkeeper Brian Murray (Camas, Wash./Camas) made 15 saves but it was not enough as Southern New Hampshire registered two goals to shut out Assumption 2-0 in an NE10 conference match up on Wednesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- At 32:18 in the first half Southern New Hampshire forward Alex Satrustegui got a breakaway and beat Murray on the right side to claim the 1-0 lead.
- The Hounds held off the Penmen till 33:40 left in the second half when Micheal Rowley scored off a pass from Tom Marrlott to end the game 2-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Murray made 15 saves while Southern New Hampshire goalkeeper Daniel Milton made two saves to improve his record to 5-0-1 overall.
- The Hound offense tallied two corner kicks and five shots while the Penmen registered 12 corner kicks and 35 shots.
