NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The Assumption University men's soccer team placed four student-athletes on the All-Northeast-10 Conference teams, led by
Cody Holbert's First Team selection, the conference office announced Tuesday morning.
Holbert earned All-NE10 First Team honors for the first time in his career after establishing career highs in goals (11), assists (4), and points (26). The senior striker became the first Greyhound to earn First Team recognition since Johannes Sundgot in 2023. Holbert opened the season by scoring at least one goal in each of the first six games and delivered one of the team's most dramatic moments of the year, netting the game-winning goal at Molloy University in the final 10 seconds of regulation.
After missing the entire 2025 season,
Jorgo Karamelo returned to the pitch and earned All-NE10 Second Team honors. Karamelo recorded six assists on the year, ranking third in the conference. His six helpers were the most by an Assumption player since Jason Lages and Jeremy Martin each recorded six during the 2019 campaign.
Evan Conceicao built on his freshman campaign with an impressive sophomore season, earning All-NE10 Third Team recognition. The West Warwick, Rhode Island, native totaled six goals and two assists for 14 points. Conceicao also proved to be a difference-maker in key moments, scoring two game-winning goals against Saint Anselm College and Adelphi University.
Rounding out the Greyhounds' honorees was
Ludvig Svegart, who earned both All-NE10 Third Team and All-Rookie Team recognition. The Swedish defender made an immediate impact in his first collegiate season, recording one goal and three assists. Two of his assists came on game-winning goals, including Holbert's last-second winner at Molloy and another against Fisher College in the following contest.
