THE BASICS:

- The Lead: Assumption took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute but Le Moyne evened up the score just minutes later and added one more goal later in the first half to come back and earn a 2-1 victory on Tuesday afternoon at home.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- The Hounds jumped out to the early 1-0 advantage as Kevin Hernandez (San Juan, P.R. / Colegio San Jose) sent a through ball into the penalty box for Simon Trcka (Prague, Czech Republic / Thornton Academy), where he finished it home at 11:26.

- Just 3:20 later, Le Moyne answered back, as Marcello Palucci evened the score up on an assisted goal.

- The Dolphins took the lead in the 34th minute as Marek Weber scored unassisted after juking a defender at the 18 and then putting a shot past goalie Brian Murray (Camas, Wash. / Camas).

- Assumption outshot Le Moyne in the second half, including a shot by Chase Gurcan (Fort Salonga, N.Y. / St. Anthony's) which was blocked out of bounds in the final two minutes, creating a corner kick. However, Le Moyne was able to clear the corner and hold on for the win.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

- Assumption was outshot 8-4 in the opening 45 minutes but held a 6-5 edge in the second half and finished with ten total shots. Le Moyne had more corner kicks, with a 6-2 advantage.

- Murray took the loss in net as he made three saves while the Hound defense recorded a pair of team saves. Ben Beaury earned the victory and needed to make just one save.
